- Get information about the paths that you want to walk through in the park information center office.
- Read the information signs while you are waking carefully. They will not only help you to enrich you excursion but also inform you about the risks that you may find in the path.
- Do not get apart from the path to take short cuts. Avoid making alternative paths, they can cause other people and yourself unnecessary problems.
- Wear proper shoes to do this activity. It is important that the shoes hold the ankle and have a good sole pattern. Avoid wearing sandals, light tennis-shoes or any other type of flatted-sole shoes
- If your interest is to take pictures and filming, pay attention when looking for the perfect framing for different types of accidents have happened to visitors such as falls when trying to get a good framing; they have stumbled, or slipped.
- Estimate the time of your hike, so you can return to the camping-site or parking car during daylight. If you have any doubt, ask the park ranger or certified tourist guides.
- Drink only water, no sodas; do it in few quantities and at regular intervals.
- Eat food in small quantities and not very frequently.
- Do not over press yourself, remember that your ride is for fun, enjoy the beauty you have all around you.
- Take a small rucksack with some supporting equipment (peroxide, cotton, bandages and gauze) a thermic water bottle, a flash light, etc.
