Land Access Ways

There is a direct land access all year long through a 250Km paved road between Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales and 150 km by 9 Norte route reaching Sarmiento Entrance  and Laguna Amarga.
Besides, it has been recently opened the Y-290 Road, known as Porteño lake, a route of 80 Km long which connects Puerto Natales with the park, coming directly to Serrano Entrance and the Park Administration. It also incorporates the Torres del Paine tourist circuit where the visitor will be able to appreciate the beauty of nature in this part of the world; places such as Tenerife hill, Ventisquero River, Rincon River, Porteño Lake, Toro Lake and Serrano Village.  There are lookouts to contemplate the beautiful surroundings.
There are several bus companies which make regular trips from Puerto Natales to the National Park from October to April up to the Park Administration Office (Laguna Amarga entrance , access Cerro Castillo).

Besides, there are organized trips (tour), which can be hired in Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas for one or more days.

Another important access is the bordering access Rio Don Guillermo, which is located in Cerro Castillo Village, 52 Km from Sarmiento Entrance and 58 Km from Laguna Amarga; this access is also connected with Calafate, Argentina.

Riverside Way Access

Serrano Sector:

Sailing is offered from this sector through Serrano River by Zodiac until the mouth of the river and also gives the chance to come back to Puerto Natales by ship. The itinerary can be made both ways.  Excursions to Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers are also programmed to arrive in Puerto Natales sailing across the Ultima Esperanza Fiord.
